USS Saratoga Museum Foundation, Inc. - The Saratoga Museum Store

We celebrated the operational status of our retail space at Rhode Island Mall during ceremonies conducted on 15 June, 2000. The reception was underwritten by Merrill Lynch Private Client Group and Merrill Lynch Trust Company.

The store (formerly the Bombay Company store) has been turned out smartly and is now shipshape and Bristol fashion, largely thanks to the efforts of the Saratoga Foundation project administrator, Andrea Badalamenti. Working with Don Marcum of the Varnum Museum and several volunteers from the Quonset Air Museum, Andrea and Jean Cartier have been working hard to square the facility away. The space boasts a Jacobs 7-cylinder radial Army Air Corps engine, courtesy of the Quonset Air Museum, an interactive touch-screen computer kiosk, and Saratoga memorabilia. The store itself is situated on the second deck of the mall, adjacent to the new construction which is proceeding for the mall's new anchor store. Directions to the Rhode Island Mall are below.

This facility is staffed 100% by volunteers, who generously donate their time in support of our mission. Occasionally we will be unable to keep the hours listed, and we ask your understanding.
