Fleet Visits Saratoga

Fleet Bankers on Deck - click to see larger image On May 16, 2001 the USS Saratoga Museum Foundation hosted an inspection visit aboard the carrier at pier 1 in Middletown for those potentially involved with the engineering and financing of the museum project.

Saratoga's island bearing the famous number 60 dwarfs visitors on a recent ship inspection.

Among the visitors were four bankers from the Middle Market Lending division of Fleet Bank, led by Senior Vice President Bob Twomey.

The contingent from Northeast Engineers and Consultants included Kevin Diaz, Dan O'Connell, Mike Diaz and Leo Keefe.
