1st place: C. Cambio, D. Capuano, A. Casali, G. Dudzik 2nd place: J. Celona, B. Urciuoli, T. Lynch, W. Walaska 3rd place: D. DiMicco, J. Greenhalgh, R. DiCarlo, J. Dionne All three top teams fired a 61 (shotgun format). Final placement was determined by tiebreakers. The first place team also swept three of four individual men's awards. Greg Dudzik won Closest to the Pin on 16; Chris Cambio hit the longest drive on 11, and Dave Capuano was long on 14. Meghan Rawson took ladies' honors for longest drive on 14. Awards presented by Congressman Bob Weygand, Honorary Chairman of the event (green shirt) and Saratoga Foundation president Frank Lennon (white shirt).
Highlight of the day, however, was Charlie Lee's closest-to-the-pin drive on 2, which entitled him to one shot to win a million dollars if he made a hole-in-one. Alas, the Beacon Falls, CT resident did not hole the shot.
Gubernatorial candidates Don Carcieri and Jim Bennett express their unequivocal support for the Saratoga project; volunteer Burt Greifer checks out the auction items.
