On Monday, October 15 the USS Saratoga Museum Foundation, Inc. is hosting its first annual golf tournament at Quidnesset Country Club in North Kingstown, with a 12 Noon shotgun start. We already have more than 100 golfers signed up to play, which is a very encouraging start especially in light of recent events.

We initially considered revising or cancelling the tournament. We soon realized, however, that such a reaction would give the terrorists another victory, so we are proceeding as planned.

It is in the same spirit that we ask your support for (and participation in) this event. Selling out this tournament will send a strong message to the community and the world that we as Americans are committed to passing the lessons of history on to our children, and also ensuring that future generations never forget the sacrifices of those who have gone before.

If not, we have room for about ten more foursomes, and sponsorships ranging from $25 to $5000 are available.
