USS Saratoga Museum Foundation, Inc. is a 501c(3) organization, contributions to which are tax deductible in accordance with federal law. For further details, please contact your attorney or tax advisor.

(NOTE: Family and other types of membership will be available after the ship is opened to the public. Membership will include free admission to the USS Saratoga Museum, along with a package of benefits currently being developed.)

In addition to being "grandfathered in" to all future benefits, the immediate, pre-opening benefits of single annual membership include:

• Charter membership card and number
• Your number will be entered in a drawing for invitations aboard the "Last Cruise of the Saratoga" (see important note below)
• Discounts on merchandise (at Rhode Island Mall store, on website and by mail order)
• Discounts on special events, such as an upcoming Speaker Program
• Guaranteed fixed membership renewal rate (you will never pay more than $35 per year, no matter how much the future membership rates may increase)

NOTE: Participation in the "Last Cruise" is by invitation only. Participation cannot be purchased, but the USS Saratoga Museum Foundation intends to invite a number of its most loyal supporters aboard as guests, subject to Coast Guard approval. By definition, Lifetime Members are included in that category.

All single members of record as of the date plans are finalized for this crossing will be included in a random drawing for spaces aboard Saratoga. The exact number of such spaces is not known at this time, because the exact number of passengers the Coast Guard will allow (if any) is subject to further negotiation and discussion. While the Foundation is confident it will be able to invite guests on this crossing of Narragansett Bay, there is a possibility that no one will be allowed aboard, or the number may be very limited.

It is our intention to attempt to accommodate between 5 and 10 percent of all numbers through this drawing. which will be conducted according to all local rules and regulations. Legal jurisdiction for this drawing will be North Kingstown, RI.
