WHAT: Community-wide yard sale to benefit two great causes: the USS Saratoga Museum Foundation effort, and unfunded/underfunded extracurricular programs within the local schools.

Alas, summer's almost over, and it's time to get organized for fall and the school year.

Here's how to clear out some of that clutter in a way that also benefits two great causes.

There are four ways to participate:

1. Make a tax-deductible donation of goods to the Saratoga Foundation that we can sell to benefit our non-profit operation;
2. Purchase a 10 x 15 space to sell your own stuff. You'll benefit from a crowd of buyers many times larger than you could generate for your own sale at home, and still be making a donation to a good cause. (Space rental, to include an 8-foot table, starts at $25 for the day.) PLEASE, NO COMMERCIAL VENDORS!
3. Have your company take a $100 corporate sponsorship table for INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION ONLY--NO RETAIL SALES. Corporate sponsors will also be prominently identified in all advertising and promotional materials.
4. Come and buy something!
