The USS Saratoga Museum Foundation invites you to join us on Monday, July 3 as we honor retired US Navy LT John Finn, Saratoga (CV-3) sailor and the nation's oldest living recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor. The 97-year-old Finn earned this nation's highest decoration at Pearl Harbor while serving as an aviation ordnanceman.

A $50 donation enables you to join us for a luncheon at the Officers Club at Naval Station Newport, and a chance to meet this true American Hero the day before he rides in a refinished 1938 Ford in the Bristol 4th of July Parade (see attached story about this car).

The Naval War College will host Finn for a 90 minute event starting at 10 that morning, to include a meeting with faculty and students and a brief tour of one of the nation's most distinguished institutions. We will of course even get a glimpse of the Saratoga herself as she awaits the move to her new home on at Quonset/Davisville!

A limited number of guests will also be able to participate in the morning's activities. Slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
