Museum Members March in Bristol 4th of July Parade

(Click on any thumbnail image to view at full size)

Bristol, Rhode Island is the home of the nation's oldest birthday celebration, and being invited to march in this prestigious parade is an honor indeed. USS Saratoga Museum Foundation was well represented this year, featuring a scratch-built model of CV-60 built by Quonset Air Museum President Stan Essex.

Todd Garrepy volunteered his new pickup, and Jean Cartier organized the construction of a platform for the truck bed. The Museum was proud to be the ONLY unit in the parade featuring representatives from all five services. Click on image to view at full size
